 The Fountain Cafe is situated near the El Alamein Fountain in Kings Cross at the corner of Macleay Street and Darlinghurst Road. The café opens at 7:30 am and closes around 11pm every day. There is indoor and outdoor seating.
With its white canopy and constantly changing mix of local and visiting customers the café has been a local landmark since 1981.
The menu is extensive and reasonably priced. Breakfast choices, available all day, include Bircher muesli as well as our world famous eggs Benedict. Lunch and dinner choices include seafood, salads and great steaks – not to mention our authentic Thai menu produced by Thai chefs. The daily specials are worth watching.
